Part 2

Sunday afternoon the 2 Can Am RT’s and 1 ninja headed west on the 580 and across San Francisco Bay and on to Pacifica then down state 1 along the coast to Half Moon Bay where we stopped to look at the sea waves crashing against the sea walls. There is just something about the sea that attracts you there. We leave Half Moon Bay and continued on to San Gregorio State Beach and the turning onto S4 through the Redwood Terrace where there are these great tall redwood trees that are really beautiful.

While in the redwoods we stopped for lunch at Alice’s Restaurant and it was packed with bikes and other tourist cars.

The food was great and the whole time that we had been on the road the heated handgrips have been doing a good job of keeping me warm and comfortable. The heated grips are just one of the comfort features that are on the touring Can Am RT-S roadster, comfort is the main reason that I am able to travel on those long trips in a short amount of time. Being comfortable while ryding slows down the fatigue process and thus you can spend a longer amount of time ryding.

The feature of adjustable rear air suspension while moving allows for the change in the road conditions that occurs throughout North America. as the ryder adjust for a smoother freeway ryde and less pounding to the body. I have posted some road video while I was in the SF Bay area.
